This is a new Orbitz 12 zone timer I installed this week in Arvada. The customer had 7 sprinkler zones but boxes are typically made for 6 zones or 12. His old timer box was fried. The ideal place for a sprinkler system timer would be in the garage for easy access manual watering when necessary but the wiring was originally set up the basement.   I left it up to the customer where he wanted it, as we could have moved it to the garage, but he chose to leave it in the basement.

A recent repair when I was doing the spring start up for new customer in North Denver. A frozen sprinkler pipe right at the irrigation box in the backyard. This is pretty typical if you don’t properly winterize and blow out the sprinkler system.
