Here are some broken micro-emitters that were causing a real headache for the customer, they were losing water like the Titanic (except no life boats) Just two missing emitters were causing a big mess and much wasted water. Also they didn’t’ have a pressure reducer installed on this line, which is the guilty culprit most of the times when the micro-emitters are blowing off constantly – TOO MUCH PRESSURE.
Heads that are too low, and not able to reach the top of the grass causes much wasted water (not reaching the grass; it’s intended target) and can be rectified by lifting the heads. The side effect is patchy dead grass that isn’t being watered properly. Removing the thatch that builds up every year also is very beneficial to keep this problem at bay.
