If you’re having some landscaping done be sure to think about your current sprinkler system and the coverage you will you need.  You may be fine with just adjusting some of the current sprinkler heads or you may need to have a new zone installed.  If you need help

Heads that are too low, and not able to reach the top of the grass causes much wasted water (not reaching the grass; it’s intended target) and can be rectified by lifting the heads.  The side effect is patchy dead grass that isn’t being watered properly.  Removing the thatch that builds up every year also is very beneficial to keep this problem at bay.

A recent repair when I was doing the spring start up for new customer in North Denver. A frozen sprinkler pipe right at the irrigation box in the backyard. This is pretty typical if you don’t properly winterize and blow out the sprinkler system.
